Break the Weekday Cycle at the Silicon Valley Bike Summit: Help the transportation industry shift gears by achieving a safer, healthier future in transit at the 6th annual Silicon Valley Bike Summit. On August 11, the Silicon Valley Bike Coalition invites everyone to join the region’s active transportation leaders from government, law enforcement, non-profits, and the public to discuss the latest projects, policies, and issues that will make roads and trails safer for all people. Caltrans reps will be available to speak about the latest guidelines and case studies on protected bike lanes and intersections, as well as explain how to get innovative projects completed. The most current Vision Zero updates will also be discussed, and examples of pop-up demo bike projects will be provided for attendees to use on their own bicycles.
