Giants Fanfest @ Oracle Park in San Francisco

San Francisco Giants fans will have their first chance to celebrate the team’s 61st season at Oracle Park this Saturday, February 9, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., for the annual KNBR Giants FanFest.

In addition to regular weekend service, Caltrain will operate one extra northbound train departing San Jose Diridon at 8 a.m. making all local stops to San Francisco. Please note that the San Francisco weekend bus bridge will be in effect. Visit the Caltrain booth at FanFest for 2019 service information.

Caltrain is a proof-of-payment system; tickets are not sold onboard trains. To save time on the return trip, fans are encouraged to buy a digital day pass using the Caltrain Mobile ticketing app or a paper ticket at a station vending machine. Clipper card users are reminded to tag on and tag off.

Caltrain reminds fans to drink responsibly and to remember that open containers of alcohol are not allowed on trains after 9 p.m.

Lunar New Year Celebration @ Courthouse Square in Redwood City

Redwood City’s 9th Annual Lunar New Year Celebration is coming to Courthouse Square on Saturday, February 9, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event features lion dancers, martial artists, taiko drummers and other live performances to celebrate the Year of the Pig. Attendees can also enjoy free admission to the San Mateo County History Museum, which will be providing complimentary arts and crafts. The Lunar New Year Celebration is open to the public and free of charge.

Courthouse Square is short walk away from the Redwood City Caltrain station and adjacent Transit Center, which serves SamTrans routes ECR/ECR Rapid, 95, 270, 274, 275, 276, 278, 295, 296, 397 & 398.

Marc Anthony Legacy Tour @ SAP Center in San Jose

Latin music fans who plan to attend Marc Anthony’s upcoming concert in San Jose on Friday night, February 8, need look no further for their transportation to/from than Caltrain. To avoid the hassle and cost of parking at SAP Center, take Caltrain to San Jose Diridon, located across the street from the arena. The concert kicks off at 9 p.m. Caltrain will operate a regular weekday schedule, with the last train departing San Jose Diridon at 10:30 p.m.
