Superfest Disability Film Festival @ Millbrae: If you’re like me, you’re tired of watching Hollywood actors receive praise because they’re willing to sit in a wheelchair on camera. If so, the Superfest Disability Film Festival is your jam, as it allows disabled people to tell their own stories through film. The event is hosted by the Millbrae Library this Saturday, October 27, at 1 p.m., and you can easily get there via the SamTrans ECR (it’ll be a short trip if you take Caltrain or BART to the Millbrae Transit Center.)

Pints for Pups @ Santa Clara: If you have both beer and dogs and you want something more, you’re probably just greedy. This Saturday, October 27, from 1 to 8 p.m., the Golden State Brewery in Santa Clara has both as part of their 4th Annual Pints for Pups. Proceeds will go to Jake’s Wish Dog Rescue and the Thulani Senior German Shepard Rescue. Take Caltrain to the Santa Clara Station, and the VTA 32 will drop you at their doorstep.

Disney On Ice @ San Jose: If you want to see your favorite Disney characters on ice skates, you’re probably not reading this blog. But if your kids want to see their favorite Disney characters on ice skates, and you don’t have the heart to tell them no, Caltrain has your back. Disney on Ice returns to the SAP Center from October 24 to 28, a hop, skip and a jump from the San Jose Diridon Caltrain Station. Ride with us, and we’ll be sure to show you a whole new world.
