SF Sketchfest: Do you like laughing with or at things? If so, San Francisco Sketchfest has got your back. Running from January 11 to 28, Sketchfest features nearly every comic that matters and practically every TV show or movie you’ve laughed at in the last decade. Acts are held all over San Francisco, but Caltrain stands at the ready to get you to and from whichever act holds your fancy. If you don’t like laughing however, please continue to read this blog in polite silence.

Harlem Globetrotters: I think an important milestone on the road to adulthood is the realization that you will never be as good at one thing as the Harlem Globetrotters are at basketball. Now, you could pick up your ukulele again to try to prove me wrong, or you can just head down to the SAP Center and watch some profoundly talented folks do things that shouldn’t be possible. The Center is right across the street from the San Jose Diridon Station, so go see the show and you’ll probably have that song out of your head by St. Patty’s Day.

MLK Celebration Train: Come celebrate the legacy of Dr. King with Caltrain this Dr. Martin Luther King Junior Day. The MLK Celebration Train departs from the San Jose Diridon Station at 9:45 a.m. Monday, January 15, making stops at Palo Alto and San Mateo and proceeding to San Francisco, where our partner the Norcal MLK Foundation is hosting a wide range of events throughout the city. We hope to see you on board.
