SF Street Food: If you’re like me, you like eating 20 different things for one meal. If so, the San Francisco Street Food Fest is where you need to be. Running from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, it’s the spot to get a huarache, a momo, some pho and a lassi all at once. Take Caltrain to the 22nd Station and you’ve got just a short walk to get your grub on.

Pumpkins in the Park: The Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival is this weekend, but don’t think it’s the only pumpkin game in town. If you can’t make it to the coast, head down to San Jose’s Discovery Meadow for Pumpkins in the Park, a family harvest fair organized by the Guadalupe River Park Conservancy. Take Caltrain to the San Jose Diridon Station, and it’s a short walk to get to all the pre-Halloween festivities.

Disabilities Awareness Month: SamTrans has declared October to be Disabilities Awareness Month, focusing special attention on the challenges facing our riders with mobility impairments. SamTrans provides more than 350,000 paratransit trips per year, and maintains a policy of zero trip denials on Redi-Wheels and RediCoast. We are honored to serve riders of all levels of mobility, and encourage you to read more about our efforts here.
