Sharks Fan Fest: Whether you’re a true Sharks fan dating back to 1990 or you just happen to look really good in teal, Sharks Fan Fest 2017 is your scene. So this Sunday, September 24 from 1-5 p.m., be sure to catch Caltrain down to the SAP Center so you can meet Sharks coaches and players, watch a scrimmage and hang out with your fellow fans.
Redwood City Oktoberfest: Four days of public beer drinking isn’t an opportunity that comes along every day (if it does, I think you have a problem). Oktoberfest comes to Redwood City from September 21 -24 and if you’re into beer, pretzels and those funny hats, you should be there too. And since giant steins of beer and driving don’t mix, you should definitely take Caltrain to the Redwood City Station so you can safely get into the spirit of the holiday.
MTC Traffic Report: In a report proving what every Bay Area resident already knows, the Metropolitan Traffic Commission states that time spent in weekday traffic increased by 80 percent from 2010 to 2016. Thankfully for you, you read a transit blog which means you aren’t spending hours out of your life starting at the bumper in front of you and turning into a sentient ball of hatred. Tl;dr: Traffic sucks, ride transit.
