Week In Transit: BOTTLE POPPING, SOCIAL MEDIA CHATTING, AND ENVIRONMENT SAVING!

Champagne & Caviar:  If your life is like mine, the best word to describe it is “baller.” Hot parties, beautiful people, a Gatsbyesque good time all around (provided you didn’t finish the book). If so, when you hear about pairing Charles de Cazanove Champagne with hand-selected caviar, you dust off your monocle and get down. So get your tickets for Friday, May 26, and head on over to Eatwith San Francisco, only a brief stroll from the San Francisco Caltrain Station. Because you know you’re thirsty.

Join Caltrain for a Chat: You’re invited to join the rail agency tomorrow for our “Lunch With Caltrain” series in which our Rail Operations Department will take part in a Ask Me Anything Chat.  Rail Ops staff will be taking all your questions regarding scheduling, operations and anything else track related. The chat kicks off at noon this Wednesday where staff will be taking questions on Facebook or Twitter. Don’t forget to use the hashtags #Caltrain #CaltrainOPS.

Energy & Sustainability Summit: The 2017 Silicon Valley Energy & Sustainability Summit offers insight into what California’s corporate citizens intend to do in order to protect our shared environment. With speakers such as Senator Kevin de León, Senator Nancy Skinner and Mayor Sam Riccardo giving talks on the Future of Climate-Friendly Transportation and The Case for Electrifying Everything (timely, no?), this is the place to be for the curious and environmentally conscious. The SamTrans 260 can get you to the Oracle Conference Center from either the Belmont or San Carlos Caltrain Stations.
