This week, San Jose’s SAP Center will host an array of animated acrobatics as Disney on Ice comes to town.
From February 22 to 26, Disney on Ice will be performing Worlds of Enchantment at the SAP Center. Caltrain’s weekday schedule offers plenty of opportunities to reach the event, as the San Jose Diridon Station is just a short walk from the venue.
The performance will include characters from Cars, Toy Story, Frozen, and The Little Mermaid. Tickets start at $15 for a variety of show times.
Caltrain is a proof-of-payment system; tickets are not sold onboard trains but can be purchased at ticket vending machines at the stations. Fans are encouraged to purchase an adult joint Caltrain/VTA Day Pass at Caltrain ticket machines to avoid long lines after the show. The pass costs $6 more than the regular adult Caltrain Day Pass, but it is valid for unlimited rides within zone limits on Caltrain through the last train of the day, and until 3 a.m. on VTA.
Customers using Clipper e-cash receive a 15 percent discount for each one-way trip. Clipper cash value and 8-ride Ticket customers must tag on at their origin station and again at their destination station. Those transferring to VTA Light rail need to tag on at a VTA Clipper machine before boarding VTA light rail. VTA payment is good for two hours and does not require tagging off at the destination station.

Parking at Caltrain stations costs $5.50 for the day, and permits can be purchased through ticket machines onsite. Paid parking rules are enforced throughout the day.

About Caltrain: Owned and operated by the Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board, Caltrain provides commuter rail service from San Francisco to San Jose, with limited commute service to Gilroy.
