Caltrain will be the smoothest journey imaginable for music fans travelling to San Francisco Fest 2016 On The Green at AT&T Park on Sunday afternoon.

Journey, Santana, the Steve Miller Band, the Doobie Brothers and Tower of Power—all acts that were formed in the Bay Area—will stake center stage for the rock extravaganza. Caltrain’s San Francisco station is located just a block away from AT&T Park, making it convenient for music lovers to take transit to the show.

To get fans to the show on time, Caltrain will operate a special train that will depart San Jose at 12:30 p.m. and make all local stops to San Francisco. It’s scheduled to arrive in San Francisco at 2:08 p.m.

Additionally, Caltrain’s weekend schedule provides hourly service between San Jose and San Francisco, including numerous other trains that will arrive in time for the 3 p.m. gig.

To accommodate the crowds expected for the festival, Caltrain will run two post-event trains on the night of the concert. The first train will leave San Francisco 15 minutes after the show, or when full, and the second one will depart 25 minutes after the show, or when full. The first train will express to Belmont, and then make all local weekend stops to San Jose. The second train will make all local stops from San Francisco.

Open alcoholic beverages are prohibited on trains departing San Francisco beginning at 9 p.m. on special event evenings.

About Caltrain: Owned and operated by the Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board, Caltrain provides commuter rail service from San Francisco to San Jose, with limited commute service to Gilroy. Caltrain has enjoyed more than five years of consecutive monthly ridership increases, surpassing more than 60,000 average weekday riders earlier this year. While the Joint Powers Board assumed operating responsibilities for the service in 1992, the railroad celebrated 150 years of continuous passenger service in 2014. Planning for the next 150 years of Peninsula rail service, Caltrain is on pace to electrify the corridor, reduce diesel emissions by 97 percent by 2040 and add more service to more stations.
