Last month, Caltrain added a third bike car to all of its Bombardier trains, giving cyclists more room to store their two-wheelers onboard. Now, every train on the Caltrain schedule is capable of carrying at least 72 bikes per trip.

  1. If you don’t have a bike, please don’t sit in the bike car. Hogging the seats where bicyclists can watch their bikes from encourages bicycle theft, which is a big problem on Caltrain.
