There are just a few days remaining for Caltrain passengers to provide feedback and input on proposed service and amenity enhancements for the rail agency.
The survey, which can be completed in about 10 minutes, is part of the Customer Experience Program, a collaborative program that Caltrain is launching with its Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC). The program will use input from passengers to prioritize service enhancements and amenities that make traveling aboard the system more enjoyable.
Passengers can rate and prioritize a range of proposed service enhancements that could be implemented in the short, mid, and long-term future. The potential changes include communication, service, and access improvements, along with proposals for new amenities on the train system. Caltrain is also seeking demographic information from the poll. No personally-identifiable information will be collected.
This is the first of two surveys that Caltrain is asking passengers to fill out this year. The second one, the Caltrain Customer Satisfaction survey, will be released in June.
Once the surveys are completed, Caltrain will review the data and determine how to pursue funding and implementation opportunities for the improvement projects. The potential projects will be prioritized based on the customer feedback.
